ICPO Centers Project Manager (m/w/d)

The International Centers for Precision Oncology Foundation (ICPO) is a German non-profit organization established in 2019 by leading medical and industry entrepreneurs. Recognizing a paradigm shift in cancer care from one size fits all to a personalized approach, the ICPO is helping build momentum to scale global patient access to Molecularly Targeted Precision Oncology to accommodate this shift. To scale patient access, ICPO aims to develop a network of International Centers for Precision Oncology organized in a Social Franchise model based on shared know-how, certified education, and design and process standardization enabling best clinical practice valid globally. Furthermore, the ICPO Foundation empowers its Centers network within a highly inclusive Community spearheading its model and living up to the Precision Oncology promise to be curative and abundant to all patients in need, irrespectively of region, country, or social status.

This role is for a qualified senior project management professional to join our team, more specifically an expert in international healthcare projects from business initiation to on site operations

 

Responsibilities

  • Presenting the ICPO Center concept as well as negotiating collaboration & franchise contracts with new ICPO Centers joining the network
  • Finetuning and updating ICPO Center business plan on a continuous basis
  • Developing ICPO-Center-in-a-Box documentation on standards, guidelines and best practices together with external experts competent in (a) hospital building design and (b) patient care management in clinical routine and trials
  • Designing the ICPO Centers certification path jointly with main professional societies
  • Supporting reference centers in establishing practical training and remote supervision of new ICPO Centers globally

 

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a international project manager
  • Solid understanding of project management principles paired with outstanding organizational and planning skills
  • Experience in center launch and network establishment projects in the field of healthcare/medtech/biotech
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including for presentations
  • Ability to identify and build strong long-term relatonships with Key Opinion Leaders and Community stakeholders
  • BSc/MSc/PhD/MD degree or relevant field based on work experience
  • Proficient command of English and preferably German; other languages considered a plus
  • Working knowledge of MS Office; building design software tools are a plus
